IRPC Honoured for Greenhouse Gas Management Excellence
(September 15, 2025) IRPC Public Co., Ltd. has been recognised with the “Climate Action Excellence Awards 2025” for its outstanding performance in greenhouse gas management. The honour was received on behalf of the company by Mr Pongsak Wattanakarunwong, Senior Vice President of Sustainable Strategic Plan, and presented by Mr Kittipong Limsuwanroj, Executive Director and Chairman of the Climate Change Pillar of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), during the Climate Change Forum 2025: Driving towards Net Zero, held at M Tower, Bangkok. Organised by the Climate Change Institute (CCI) under the FTI, the forum provided a platform for sharing knowledge on climate change and accelerating Thai industry’s journey towards the Net Zero goal. IRPC stated that the award highlights its success in climate change management through the integration of ESG principles across environmental, social, and governance dimensions, reaffirming its commitment to reaching Net Zero emissions by 2050.

IRPC Honoured for Excellence in Greenhouse Gas Management
IRPC Public Co., Ltd., under the leadership of President and CEO Kris Imsang, has been awarded a certificate of honour as a 2024 Climate Action Leading Organisation (CALO), recognising its outstanding role in greenhouse gas management. Presented by Jatuporn Buruspat, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, this award places IRPC among 23 organisations in Thailand acknowledged for high standards in greenhouse gas reduction, with IRPC attaining a gold-level rating for emission measurement and reduction, and a bronze level for greenhouse gas compensation. The award celebrates IRPC’s commitment to sustainable resource and energy management, driven by ongoing research and innovations in material and energy development. By integrating clean and renewable energy in its production process, IRPC is advancing towards its ambitious goal of a 20% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions by 2030.
IRPC received Green Industry Award 2024
IRPC Public Company Limited (IRPC) received the Green Industry Award plaque from Mr. Ekanat Promphan, the Minister of Industry, who presided over the opening ceremony of the event “Towards Sustainable Success… Alongside Community and Environmental Care… with Green Industry.” This event was organized by the Ministry of Industry and held at the Makkhawan Rangsan Room, 3rd floor, Army Club (Vibhavadi), Bangkok. The Green Industry Award promotes industries committed to continuously developing and improving the efficiency of production processes and environmental management. It encourages operations that are environmentally friendly and uphold social and environmental responsibility within and beyond the organization’s supply chain for sustainable development. IRPC received the Eco Factory Awards for the 10th consecutive year.
IRPC Public Company Limited (IRPC) received the Eco Factory Award from Mr. Ekanat Promphan, the Minister of Industry, at the Eco Innovation Forum 2024 academic seminar, themed “Now Thailand: Sustainable Futures – Investing in Thailand for a Sustainable Future.” The event, organized by the Institute of Industrial Environment of the Federation of Thai Industries, took place at the Grand Hall, Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre (BITEC), Bangna. IRPC has received the Eco Factory Award for the 10th consecutive year due to its effective, efficient, and safe management practices. The company strives to maximize resource and energy efficiency, conducting business with an awareness of environmental impacts, working towards a low-carbon society, and supporting the community and surrounding stakeholders for sustainable development. เม็ดพลาสติกโพลีสไตรีน เม็ดพลาสติกโพลิโพรพิลีนคอมพาวด์ และ เม็ดพลาสติกโพลิโพรพิลีน ของ IRPC ได้ผ่านการพิจารณาขึ้นทะเบียนฉลากคาร์บอนฟุตพริ้นท์ของผลิตภัณฑ์ จากคณะกรรมการองค์การบริหารจัดการก๊าซเรือนกระจก เมื่อวันที่ 11 มีนาคม 2567 โดยได้รับความร่วมมือจากฝ่ายโพลีโอเลฟินส์ ฝ่ายสไตรีนิคส์และอะโรเมติกส์ และ ฝ่ายบริหารคุณภาพ ความปลอดภัย อาชีวอนามัยและสิ่งแวดล้อม จากการที่ IRPC ได้เข้าร่วมโครงการส่งเสริมการจัดทำฉลากคาร์บอนฟุตพริ้นท์ของผลิตภัณฑ์ (Carbon Footprint of Products : CFP) ซึ่งดำเนินโครงการโดยสภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย สนับสนุนโดยองค์การบริหารจัดการก๊าซเรือนกระจก (องค์การมหาชน) เพื่อเป็นการขยายผลให้เกิดการคำนวณค่าคาร์บอนฟุตพริ้นท์ของผลิตภัณฑ์ในองค์กรเพิ่มมากยิ่งขึ้น
IRPC mobilizes greenhouse management through carbon footprint platform towards Net Zero goal.
On February 8, 2024, Mr. Somboon Satasin, Senior Vice President, Quality, Safety, Occupational Health and Environmental addressed “Leadership Vision Towards Net Zero Goals” and appointed Mr. Maithree Sakulkittimasak, Senior Officer, Environmental Management as representative of IRPC to joine in the opening ceremony of “Carbon Footprint for Organization Platform Testing on the Net Zero Pathway” with the objective to promote greenhouse management certified by Carbon Footprint for Organization: CFO in various sectors by using platform developed by Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (Public Organization) as an accurate, convenient and rapid assessment tool in line with international standards; in addition, it can also support verification by data verifiers whereby TGOs can review and communicate with reporting organizations and verification agencies seamlessly through the developed platform which allows business sector to efficiently move towards Net Zero goal.
IRPC joined in declaring commitment in preparation for Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism
On February 5, 2024, Mr. Somboon Satasin, Senior Vice President, Quality, Safety, Occupational Health and Environmental represented IRPC Public Co., Ltd. in joint declaration to participate in “Preparation for CBAM measures for export to the European Union” program, with the objective to accelerate preparation for exporters of targeted industries such as iron and steel, cement, electricity, fertilizer, aluminum, paper, ceramic, glass, plastic, hydrogen and chemicals to be able to comply with Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism: CBAM using embedded emissions platform as a tool to evaluate and report to the EU, including recommendations to improve the platform. The event was presided by Mr. Kiatchai Maitriwong, Executive Director, Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (Public Organization) or TGO at Rama Gardens Hotel, Bangkok with Facebook Live Streaming.
IRPC รับใบประกาศฯ การสนับสนุนกิจกรรมลดก๊าซเรือนกระจก จากกิจกรรมการคัดแยกขยะรีไซเคิล
เมื่อวันที่ 26 ธันวาคม 2566 บริษัท ไออาร์พีซี จำกัด (มหาชน) ได้รับใบประกาศเกียรติคุณ โครงการสนับสนุนกิจกรรมลดก๊าซเรือนกระจก (Low Emission Support Scheme : LESS) โดยองค์การบริหารจัดการก๊าซเรือนกระจก (องค์การมหาชน) จากกิจกรรมการคัดแยกขยะรีไซเคิล บริเวณพื้นที่โรงงานระยอง ซึ่งปริมาณขยะรีไซเคิลที่แยกได้ในปี 2565 เท่ากับ 818.9 กิโลกรัม โดยปริมาณก๊าซเรือนกระจก ได้รับการประเมินว่าสามารถลดก๊าซเรือนกระจกได้เป็นจำนวน 607 กิโลกรัมคาร์บอนไดออกไซด์เทียบเท่า (kgCO2eq) ระยะเวลาตั้งแต่ 1 มกราคม 2565 ถึง 31 ธันวาคม 2565 โครงการสนับสนุนกิจกรรมลดก๊าซเรือนกระจก (Low Emission Support Scheme) มีแนวคิดในการพัฒนารูปแบบการดำเนินกิจกรรมเพื่อสร้างความตระหนักให้เกิดการลดการปล่อยก๊าซเรือนกระจก และยกย่องผู้ทำความดี โดยการมอบใบประกาศเกียรติคุณ (Letter of Recognition : LOR) เพื่อให้ผู้ดำเนินกิจกรรมลดก๊าซเรือนกระจกได้รับการยอมรับ โดยผ่านกระบวนการวิเคราะห์และประเมินทางเทคนิควิชาการ และนำมาผนวกกับแนวคิดการให้การสนับสนุน (Support) จาก “ผู้ให้” ในภาคองค์กร/ธุรกิจ ไปสู่ “ผู้รับ” ในสังคม/ชุมชน ทั้งนี้ การประเมินปริมาณก๊าซเรือนกระจกของโครงการ LESS เป็นการประเมินเบื้องต้นเพื่อการประกาศเกียรติคุณ ดังนั้นปริมาณก๊าซเรือนกระจกที่ลดได้จากโครงการ LESS จึงไม่สามารถนำไปซื้อ-ขายได้
