PTT Group joins forces to launch “Breath for the Youth” project with PTT Virtual Run
On May 20, 2022, Mr. Auttapol Rerkpiboon, President and Chief Executive Officer, PTT Mr. Chawalit Tippawanich, President & Chief Executive Officer, IRPC and senior management along with PTT Group employees, piloted the PTT Virtual Run activity by accumulating mileage under the project “Breath for the Youth” to support The Equitable Education Fund (EEF), with a goal to provide scholarships of more than Baht 150 million to youth from low-income families and those who are economically impacted by COVID-19 of more than 60,000 people across the country. The general public were invited to start accumulate walking – running mileage whereby every 10 kilometers will receive a scholarship of Baht 2,500 which is sufficient to bring 1 child back into school system.
This demonstrates PTT Group’s executives and employees’ determination in helping society in various dimensions especially in education, with the belief that youth that gain access to quality education system will grow to be an important force in developing the country.
