IRPCT joined forces with ARUN PLUS in upgrading vocational education

Mr. Preeda Boonsilps, Manager, IRPC Technological College (IRPCT) and Mr. Ekachai Yimsakul, Managing Director of Arun Plus Co., Ltd. (ARUN PLU) along with executives from relevant departments participated in the signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation to enhance vocational education with high performance in the field of electric vehicle (EV) through the establishment of learning center to develop new skills and technologies to academics,

ARUN PLUS support teaching materials, participate in courses development for High Vocational Certificate (High Voc. Cert.) in dual vocational education best practice and to be professional training ground for scholarship recipients with opportunities being selected to work at PTT Group and ARUN PLUS Group.

The first phase of cooperation is to jointly develop courses and support specialist to exchange knowledge on EVs whereby interested students will have the opportunity to do internships in EV -related companies in PTT Group which have commercially started such as on-ion EV Charging Station or Swap & Go, a battery swap station for motorcycles without waiting to be charged, as well as EV manufacturer, jointly operated by ARUN PLUS and Foxconn. This integration of cooperation between organizations and educational institutions aims to elevate vocational education towards excellence in specific field which will contribute to the achievement of Thailand 4.0.
