IRPC Smart Farming joined hand with Kasetsart University at Kamphaeng Saen Campus utilizing technology to improve the quality of life of disabled farmers
On June 21, 2021, Mr. Chawalit Tippawanich, President & Chief Executive Officer, IRPC Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chouw Inprasit, Dean of Faculty of Engineering, Kasetsart University: Kamphaeng Saen and Bishop Uthai Thaworn, Director, Center for Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, Diocese of Udon Thani signed Memorandum Of Understanding on academic cooperation in water management, crops development, use of innovation and technology in agricultural by IRPC Smart Farming at Center for Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, Diocese of Udon Thani project with the objective to develop as a learning center and a pilot project of Smart Farming for people with disabilities and generate income for the disabled in the project and the center.
The IRPC Smart Farming project utilize integrated agricultural technology to achieve the maximum benefit, suitable for local community and the way of life by introducing uncomplicated technology and innovation adapted to local conditions, enhancing better quality of life for farmers, the elderly and caregivers of bedridden disabled to have the opportunity to learn about farming in order to generate income for themselves and their families as well as developing the center to be self-reliant and sustainable in the future.
