เมื่อวันที่ 29 มีนาคม 2567 คุณพิจินต์ อภิวันทนาพร รองกรรมการผู้จัดการใหญ่ บัญชีและการเงิน ไออาร์พีซี พร้อมด้วยผู้บริหารระดับสูง กลุ่ม ปตท. เข้าร่วมพิธีลงนามบันทึกข้อตกลงความร่วมมือการสนับสนุนสมาคมกีฬา จากหน่วยงานรัฐวิสาหกิจและภาคเอกชน โดยมี คุณเศรษฐา ทวีสิน นายกรัฐมนตรี เป็นประธานในพิธี โดย กลุ่ม ปตท. ได้ผนึกพลังร่วมขับเคลื่อนนโยบาย Soft Power ของประเทศทางด้านกีฬา โดยสนับสนุนสมาคมกีฬา จำนวน 20 สมาคม และมีแผนการสนับสนุนอย่างต่อเนื่อง เป็นระยะเวลา 4 ปี (ปี พ.ศ. 2567 – พ.ศ.2570) เพื่อวางแผนการพัฒนานักกีฬาในระยะยาวอย่างครบวงจรให้มีประสิทธิภาพและยั่งยืน ณ ตึกสันติไมตรี ทำเนียบรัฐบาล
