IRPC delivered “Rayong Ruamjaiphat Building” to screen respiratory diseases at Rayong Hospital to increase safety and reduce the risk of infection of COVID-19

Mr. Noppadol Pinsupa, President and Chief Executive Officer of IRPC said, “With the spread of the COVID-19 virus, the company recognizes the need to support equipment and tools to prevent the spread of respiratory infections for medical personnel and the general public. In the past, the company developed and delivered medical innovations to various hospitals such as PPE, carry sheets to move patients, negative pressure, etc. As Rayong is one of the strategic provinces to the Thai economy with various large industrial plants in the province, a team of IRPC volunteer engineers cooperated with doctors at Rayong Hospital to designe a negative pressure respiratory disease screening room (Modular Diagnosis Room / Ari Clinic) that meets international standards under the name “Rayong Ruamjaiphat Building” to reduce respiratory infections of medical personnel and patients undergoing examination in the form of One Stop Service that accommodate the new normal way of living and elevates the quality of life of Rayong people.”

With concern for the medical personnel, IRPC provided knowledge in engineering and design in developing negative pressure respiratory disease screening building for Rayong Hospital to reduce the chance of infection for medical personnel and patients.

For “Rayong Ruamjaiphat Building”, it is a one-stop service building consisting of a disease screening section, one positive pressure room for medical records, one positive pressure room for pharmaceutical dispensing and cash collection, 3 positive pressure rooms for doctors, 3 negative pressure rooms for patients waiting area and 2 restrooms.

IRPC would like to be a part to support and facilitate the work of medical personnel and public health of the country. The signing of the memorandum of understanding (MOU) was on April 29, 2020, IRPC will design and finance the construction of the building whereby Rayong Hospital will be in charge of land placement.
