IRPC joined forces with SET and Royal Forest Department to plant 10 rai of community forest for Care the Wild project
On September 13, 2023, Mr. Thawatchai Chaipramote, Corporate Governance Senior Manager led Office of Corporate Affairs and Sustainable Strategic Plan Department, IRPC Public Co., Ltd. together with the Stock Exchange of Thailand, the management from the Royal Forest Department, representatives from community forest network, community team from Ban Khok Phluang, Chief Executive of the Subdistrict Administrative Organization Hinkhon and representatives from local school piloted tree planting at “Cultivate Awareness to Protect the Community Forest” under the “Care the Wild, Plant and Protect” project in the Ban Khok Phluang forest community, Chakrat district, Nakhon Ratchasima Province. The objective is to reforest 10 rai area over a period of 10 years with the commitment to create economic growth, creating jobs and mitigate global warming in line with IRPC’s goal of becoming Net Zero Emission in 2060.
IRPC also promotes community participation by providing equipment for planting trees, donate sports equipment to 4 schools in Chakrat District and participated in planting trees and tilling soil with student representatives to cultivate care for the environmental.
