IRPC in collaboration with King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital advances “From Wastes to Walk” project, collecting PP plastic parts for recycling

IRPC Public Company Limited, led by Ms. Arisara Suthasut, Executive Vice President, Corporate Affairs and Company Secretary, handed over a 240-litre plastic tank to the prosthetic unit of Rehabilitation Medicine Department, Chulalongkorn Hospital, Thai Red Cross Society, represented by Assoc. Prof. Wasuwat Kitisomprayoonkul, M.D., Head of Rehabilitation Medicine Department, and MD Sirinda Thawanapong, Medical officer of Rehabilitation Medicine Department, as part of the “From Wastes to Walk” project.

The project’s mission is to collect PP plastic parts (polypropylene) left over from the production of orthotics. IRPC will collect PP plastic parts and bring them for recycling to produce PP plastic pellets before sending to Eastern Polypack Co., Ltd. to produce recycled plastic sheets for the prosthetic department to produce prosthetic limbs for hospital patients and other people with disabilities.
