IRPC support career promotion for people with disabilities in Rayong Province.
Mr. Kris Imsang, President and Chief Executive Officer, IRPC Public Co., Ltd. participated in the signing to support the exercise of rights under Section 35 for contracting services for 49 disabled to increase income and improve the quality of life of people with disabilities. In accordance to the memorandum of cooperation with 8 local government organizations, consisting of Rayong City Municipality, Choeng Noen Subdistrict Municipality, Nam Khok Subdistrict Municipality, Thap Ma Subdistrict Municipality, Ban Laeng Subdistrict Administrative Organization, Tapong Subdistrict Administrative Organization, Na Ta Khwan Subdistrict Administrative Organization, Ta Khan Subdistrict Administrative Organization, “Promotion of Career for Persons with Disabilities” with Mr. Triphop Wongtrirat, Rayong Governor co-chairing and witnessed the signing on March 3, 2023 at the IRPC Community Network Learning Center, Rayong Province.
The company received cooperation from 8 local government organizations around the IRPC Industrial Estate in the recruitment of disabled according to the requirements of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities Act which has been certified by the Rayong Provincial Employment Office. Out of the 49 people with disabilities who received support, 16 received occupational support and 33 are subcontracted to work in 8 local administrative organizations so that people with disabilities could be self-reliant in accordance to the company’s policy in promoting social activities, in line with the goals of sustainable development and good social guidelines in promoting suitable occupations that create value for people with disabilities.
