IRPC hand over water supply system for Lam Sai Yong Village Model Project, Buriram Province, as a water management prototype to IRPC Smart Farming
On December 7, 2022, Miss Arisara Suthasut, Executive Vice President, Corporate Affairs, IRPC handed over the Nong Yang village water supply system to leaders and representatives of Ban Nong Yang community, whereby the company repaired and restored the Nong Yang village water supply system, Lam Sai Yong model project for water management at Lam Sai Yong sub-district, Buriram province where the company’s volunteer engineer develop water sources to alleviate water scarcity in the dry season, reduce the cost of water supply for household consumption and agriculture and elevate the quality of life of the villagers. Besides Ban Nong Yang community, the water supply system also benefitted Ban Nong Na, Ban Nong Sai and Ban Khok Yai communities, totaling more than 370 households, including economic crops farmer networks in the area. Executives, volunteer engineers and CSR teams joined in planting perennials and releasing freshwater fish species in Ban Nong Yang Reservoir to increase natural food sources thereby generating income for Ban Nong Yang community.
