IRPC awarded 1st runner-up in “UN Women 2022 Thailand WEPs Awards”
On November 4, 2022, Miss Arisara Suthasut, Executive Vice President, Corporate Affairs, represented IRPC Public Company Limited in receiving the 1st runner-up “UN Women 2022 Thailand WEPs Awards” in the category of Community Engagement & Partnerships for the second year running from the United Nations Organization for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women (UN Women) at Lotus Suite 5-7, 22nd floor, Centara Grand Hotel at Central World.
The “UN Women 2022 Thailand WEPs Awards” is the only awards in Thailand and Asia Pacific that promote gender equality and empower women with 6 award categories. This year the Learning Center and Integrated Agricultural Tourism at Yai Da Garden, “Jae Boonchuen”, IRPC Smart Farming received the runner-up award from IRPC’s promotion and support for Ms. Boonchuen Phokaew, community leader of Taphong Subdistrict or Jay Boonchuen as a role model and inspiration for female farmers in communities and other provinces across the country to recognize the potential of women being able to build a career and generate income for themselves and the community in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG1: No Poverty, SDG5: Gender Equality, SDG8: Good Job and Economic Growth).
