IRPC received “Best Practice Awards 2021”

Mr. Chawalit Tippawanich, President & Chief Executive Officer, IRPC received “Best Practice Awards 2021” for social innovation by providing better quality of life for people with disabilities from H.E. Air Chief Marshal Chalit Pukbhasuk, Privy Councillor in One Million Good Deeds for Motherland Project by the Foundation of Thai Society at the Royal Thai Air Force Auditorium.

IRPC collaborated with the Prostheses Foundation of H.R.H. the Princess Mother in developing Innovative Plastic for the Disabled Polypropylene Random Copolymer 3340H used in the manufacturing of prosthetic legs.  With the polymer’s characteristic of high clarity, flexible and smooth, it enables doctors to see the contact surface of the patient and therefore adjust the leg accordingly for a better fit which enhance their quality of life.  In addition, plastic scraps from prosthetics production can be recycled to produce prosthetic legs which reduces imports, provides cost reduction for the foundation and enable the disabled more accessibility to prosthetics.
