IRPC with KMITL and Eastern Polymer Group give swab test box to Priest Hospital for medical benefit amid Covid-19 pandemic.

Mr. Pongsak Wattanakarunwong, Petrochemical Sales Manager of IRPC Public Co.,Ltd. or IRPC, Assistant Professor Dr. Rachanee Kulyanont, Director of the Research and Innovation Management Office at King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (KMITL) and Mr. Teerawat Vitoorapakorn, Senior Managing Director of Eastern Polypack Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of the Eastern Polymer Group Public Co., Ltd  jointly delivered a negative-pressured swab test booth to Dr. Somkiat Kasemthamkhun, Head of Surgery at Priest Hospital. for examining patients infected with COVID-19 safely, resulting in an increased number of patients examined per day.

The negative-pressured swab test booth was the research work of KMITL GO FIGHT COVID-19 innovation center. The booth is equipped with UV-C and HEPA (High Efficiency Particulate Air) filtration and sterilization system, providing an air filter that treats the polluted air inside the cabinet before releasing it to the outside atmosphere.

The automatic disinfection spray system operating after examination increases the safety and convenience for the medical professionals during their performance.  With a compact size, it can be moved easily.

To support numerous swab tests, IRPC together with KMITL and Eastern Polymer Group will continue to deliver more 20 negative-pressured swab test booths to hospitals nationwide.
