IRPC Showcases Smart Farming and Lam Sai Yong Model
IRPC shared implementation guidelines on smart farming and water management at the Suan Yai Da Je Boonchuen IRPC Smart Farming Centre, promoting sustainable agricultural practices to small-scale clients and community enterprises.
IRPC on August 9, 2024, opened the doors of the ‘Suan Yai Da Je Boonchuen IRPC Smart Farming’ Centre to a group of 40 small-scale clients, community enterprises, and SMEs eager to learn about cutting-edge sustainable agriculture. Led by Mr Yutthasak Tunboriphun from the Government Savings Bank, the group explored innovative water management techniques and smart farming practices shared by Miss Chaleeya Chaiwattana, Senior Officer of Corporate Branding & Communication at IRPC. The visit highlighted the ‘Lam Sai Yong Model Smart Farming’ initiative, showcasing practical strategies for modern agriculture that can revolutionise community farming and boost local economies.
This study visit was part of the Government Savings Bank’s initiative under the CSV (Creating Shared Value) concept to foster learning among the bank’s small-scale clients, helping them develop products, expand business opportunities, and contribute to sustainable economic and social growth.
