IRPC Transforms Medical Waste into Hope for Disabled

IRPC collaborates with Queen Sirikit National Institute of Child Health to recycle prosthetic waste, creating new orthotic products for patients and disabled individuals.

IRPC Public Company Limited, or IRPC, led by Arisara Suthasut, Executive Vice President, Corporate Affairs and Company Secretary, presented 2,401-litre plastic bins to Dr Ratcha Lormaneenoparat, M.D., Head of Prosthetic and Orthotic Clinic, Queen Sirikit National Institute of Child Health, Department of Medical Services, Ministry of Public Health under the project “From Waste to Walk”. The bins are for collecting the polypropylene waste from prosthetic and orthotic product manufacturing. IRPC is responsible for the recycling process to produce the recycled PP and deliver it to Eastern Polypack Co., Ltd. to manufacture recycled plastic sheets. The finished products are then returned to the Prosthetic and Orthotic Clinic department for patients and disabled people.
