2019-07-05IRPC provided Random Copolymer Polypropylene to the Prostheses Foundation

     Mrs. Peyada Chongpayuha, Executive Vice President, Corporate Affairs, IRPC represented the company in providing 10,500 Random Copolymer Polypropylene sheets (produced from 28MT of plastic resins) which is an innovative product IRPC researched and developed together with the Prostheses Foundation to produce translucent prostheses whereby technicians can easily see the attachment of the stump to the prosthesis socket which enhance a better fit for the disabled, reduce pain and production time. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vajara Rujiwetpongstorn, Secretary General of Prostheses Foundation of H.R.H the Princess Mother provided the honor in receiving at the Prostheses Foundation, Mae Rim, Chiang Mai.
     IRPC collaborates the "Prostheses Project" together with the Prostheses Foundation since 2011 by donating about 20MT/year of plastic pellets to the Prostheses Foundation to ensure sufficient raw materials to produce prostheses for the disabled.  Plastic resins must be first extruded into sheets in accordance to the size specified by the Foundation free of charge by our customer Eastern Polymer Group Public Company Limited – EPG.  Mr. Pongsak Wattanakarunwong, Vice President of Petrochemical Sales Department represented the company in receiving the plastic sheets from Mr. Teerawat Vitoorapakorn, Deputy Chief of Executive Officer/ Managing Director of EPG and expressed gratitude for the support and participation in the Company's social projects.
